Payment When booking your wedding cake we require a £50 deposit. This deposit is non refundable should you cancel your order for any reason. Four weeks prior to your event you will receive an invoice for the remainder. The balance must be cleared 3 weeks before the delivery of your cake. Once the balance has been paid, work will start to commence on your cake. If your order is cancelled less than 21 days prior to the event we will refund 25% of the full amount paid. Any other refunds are made at our discretion only. For novelty cakes/bespoke cakes we require a deposit of 50% of the total cost of your order this is a non refundable deposit which the remainder of the balance is payable on delivery.
Ordering your cake When ordering your cake we require at least 7 days notice for small/novelty cakes & 4 weeks on wedding cakes please contact us for availability its never too soon to book in your cake & avoid disappointment.
Alterations I am happy to make alterations to your cake design and order up to 4 weeks prior to your event date. If ordering cupcakes or mini cakes you may also alter the amount of your order. Please be aware that this may affect the balance due and your invoice will be adjusted accordingly. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your cake order, please just contact us.
Flowers and in-edible items At the request of the client, cakes sometimes contain non-edible items such as brooches, ribbons, flowers and feathers etc. These items must be removed before serving and we accept no responsibility for any harm these might cause. We can provide flowers to decorate your cake, or we will liaise directly with your florist. Be aware that some flowers are not suitable for cake decoration, or may be toxic if eaten and all foliage must be removed before serving. Any contamination to your cake is not our responsibility.
DELIVERY Cakes are delivered free within a 10 mile radius outside of this is subject to a charge of 90p per mile
STORAGE Sugar paste (the icing covering the cake) is not designed to be refrigerated and as such cakes with this icing should be stored in a cool dry place,preferably in the box supplied in.Refrigeration may cause colours to run on your cake. Please store in a cool dry room away from odours to ensure the freshness of your cake is maintained. Cake leftovers may be frozen after wrapped completely in wrap or foil for no longer than 3 months.
